FREE on 9/18 and 9/19 only!

Aimie, a naïve but feisty dreamer struggling to escape the toil of her parents’ tavern, convinces Connell, an honorable Greymark Knight, to escort her on a long journey. Danger confronts them at every turn, from brutal thieves, a ghostly wight, and vicious, blood-thirsty assassins, to irrefutable proof that Mythikal creatures and old magik are real. These are only minor problems compared to what’s brewing back at Greymark, where an army of stone-skinned trolls have enslaved Connell’s people in preparation for a full-scale invasion. Their end game? Human domination—or utter destruction.

Mythikal Magik is a sprawling, epic tale full of everything fantasy lovers enjoy most: magik and mayhem, swords and sorcery, heroes and villains, exotic creatures, and a touch of romance.

The Gemstone Chronicles Book One: The Carnelian by William L Stuart

When Aidan and Maggie find a fairy cross while rock-hunting with their grandfather, it’s just an oddity. But when they discover an elf imprisoned in the stone and set him free, they and their grandparents, Nana and Beebop, are attacked by Dark Elves and forced to flee to the magical world of Celahir.

In Celahir, Findecano – the elf the children freed from the fairy cross – leads them on a quest to recover gemstones stolen from the Elven Bow by the Dark Elves. Without the restoration of the gemstones to the Elven Bow, the balance between good and evil in Celahir – and the human world – could tip toward evil.

Featured Book: Ghosts of the Asylum: Book I of The Horrors of Bond Trilogy by Ty Johnston @HTJohnston

Posted By Fantasy Books Curator Leave a Comment

The streets of the city of Bond boil with discontent.

Political struggles within a power vacuum bring dreams of dominance to some among the lower levels of the city’s underbelly. Common thugs and guild bosses alike conspire together, their goal to eliminate the figure of Kron Darkbow.

Permanently.

Kron has become a symbol on the streets, and his removal would not only clear the way for others, but also would be a sign of who has the real power in Bond.

Amidst the chaos, buildings burn, riots go nearly unchecked, and even the city guard find themselves forced to retreat.

Through it all sits the Asylum, a building in ruin, a building with history, a history that involves Kron Darkbow. For if the street scum fail to get the man in black, perhaps the spirits of the dead will prevail.

About the Author
I’ve done lots of things. I’ve gotten degrees and taken advanced courses in various fields: physics, engineering, religious studies, history. I’ve taught college courses, been a physicist, a licensed professional engineer, and I’ve investigated some of the most complex and high profile engineering disasters of the last twenty years. I’ve even testified as a forensic engineering expert before the supreme court of the State of New York. After reading the battle scenes in my books, some of my readers have asked me whether I also used to be a spy or a Special Forces operative. I can’t comment on that, I tell them. My non-fiction work has been read around the world. I write some of that every day, and I still enjoy it. But all my life, for fun, I’ve written fantasy stories. I started writing them before I did any of the things I mentioned above, and I’ll probably keep writing them for as long as I’m around. A few years ago, I decided to get them published so others can read them too.
