What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I love writing fantasy romance and I love twisting fairytales, so combining the two into a fantasy fairy tale twist was super attractive. Throw in an alpha fae and an enemies to lovers romance, and it's magic! I've always thought elves, fae and witches are fun to write, so it comes as no surprise that this series is full of them. Also, it's got some fun twists, so hang in there to the end and you'll see how even an evil queen can become a heroine. Love it!
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I really loved the idea of the huntsman as a hero, and I like dark, complex heros. What causes a man (or a fae) to work for an evil queen, and what would push him to save someone at the cost of his life? Those are the questions that drive my romances. I want my characters to work for their romance, to become more and I know that by the time you finish this series, you'll feel that each and every one of them was pushed to the limits. As for Trina, Snow White is typically a person who has things happen to her. Trina, from the begining, has decided to take charge of her fate. She still has lots of lessons to learn in how to do it, but she grows and changes, until by the end, you know she can.
